# Gravity Host > UK-based web hosting for small businesses, sole traders and side-projects. Every > plan includes NVMe SSD storage, cPanel, free SSL, daily backups and unlimited > business email at your own domain. Operated by GK Tools Ltd (London, UK). > Plans from £50/year (40% off the first year — from £30). UK support by phone > (020 8050 3147) and ticket. Servers and support are UK-based; areaServed: GB. ## Hosting plans (annual, renews at standard rate; first year is 40% off) - 10 GB NVMe SSD — £50/year (£30 first year): a WordPress site or online shop. Most popular. - 15 GB NVMe SSD — £75/year (£45 first year): room to grow with media and files. - 20 GB NVMe SSD — £100/year (£60 first year): several sites or a large shop. - 25 GB NVMe SSD — £125/year (£75 first year): big sites with lots of content. - Every plan: unlimited websites, cPanel, free SSL/HTTPS, daily backups, unlimited email, free WordPress install, free migration. - [Plans & pricing](https://gravityhost.co.uk/#plans) - [Why Gravity Host](https://gravityhost.co.uk/#why) ## Domains - [Search & register a domain](https://gravityhost.co.uk/domains): .co.uk, .com, .uk, .org and more. Free WHOIS privacy on supported TLDs (.com, .net, .org, .eu, .shop). - [Transfer a domain to Gravity Host](https://gravityhost.co.uk/transfer) ## Gravity AI Connect - [Gravity AI Connect](https://gravityhost.co.uk/ai-connect): connect a compatible ChatGPT or Claude plan to Gravity Host through the open Model Context Protocol (MCP), using the customer's own AI subscription rather than Gravity-billed AI credits. - Builder tools can list projects, read structured content after secrets and analytics code are removed, and—only with separate `sites:write` approval—create or update reversible unpublished drafts. - The controlled hosting-file preview can list owned website targets and list/read bounded UTF-8 files. Protected secrets, binary files and symbolic links are excluded. Live create, update and snapshot-restore tools are not currently available. - `hosting:files:read` applies only to authoritative website document roots on the signed-in customer's active cPanel services. The disabled `hosting:files:write` scope is omitted from OAuth metadata and rejected even on older tokens. The AI never receives or selects a cPanel username, password, WHM token or server path. Email, databases, DNS, cron, billing and cPanel settings are not available. - Executable PHP, includes and `.htaccess` are outside AI Connect because code launched from a website can inherit the wider cPanel Unix account's authority. Customers can still manage those files directly through cPanel. Live file writes remain gated until Gravity has a reviewed static-only target isolation mechanism; Builder draft writes remain reversible and unpublished. - Customer websites should retain their existing brand or receive a site-specific accessible design system based on the customer's purpose, audience and preferences. Connected AIs must not copy Gravity Host's logo, Bricolage Grotesque, Plus Jakarta Sans, JetBrains Mono, emerald-and-gold palette, Font Awesome treatment or dark rounded-card interface into customer websites, and should avoid generic AI visual clichés. - Customers approve explicit permissions through OAuth with PKCE. Hosting-file write permission is currently unavailable, other write permissions remain excluded from the default connection, access can be revoked at any time, and tool calls appear in the customer's AI activity history. - MCP connection address: `https://gravityhost.co.uk/mcp` - [Manage an existing account's AI connections](https://gravityhost.co.uk/account/ai-connect) ## Knowledge base (how-to guides) - [Getting started with your hosting account](https://gravityhost.co.uk/account/kb/getting-started-with-your-hosting-account) - [Understanding your hosting plan](https://gravityhost.co.uk/account/kb/understanding-your-hosting-plan) - [Install WordPress with Softaculous in cPanel](https://gravityhost.co.uk/account/kb/how-to-install-wordpress-with-softaculous-in-cpanel) - [Migrate your website to Gravity Host](https://gravityhost.co.uk/account/kb/how-to-migrate-your-website-to-gravity-host) - [Set up email on your domain](https://gravityhost.co.uk/account/kb/setting-up-email-on-your-domain) - [Add your email to your phone](https://gravityhost.co.uk/account/kb/how-to-add-your-email-to-your-phone) - [Block or filter spam in your inbox](https://gravityhost.co.uk/account/kb/how-to-block-or-filter-unwanted-emails-spam-in-your-inbox) - [Free SSL / HTTPS for every domain](https://gravityhost.co.uk/account/kb/ssl-certificates-free-https-for-every-domain) - [Force SSL with .htaccess](https://gravityhost.co.uk/account/kb/how-to-force-ssl-with-htaccess) - [Point your domain to Gravity Host nameservers](https://gravityhost.co.uk/account/kb/pointing-your-domain-to-gravity-host-nameservers) - [Manage DNS records with Zone Editor](https://gravityhost.co.uk/account/kb/managing-dns-records-with-zone-editor) - [Transfer a domain to Gravity Host](https://gravityhost.co.uk/account/kb/how-to-transfer-a-domain-to-gravity-host) - [Domain transfer guide](https://gravityhost.co.uk/account/kb/domain-transfer-guide) - [Domain renewal notifications — what to expect](https://gravityhost.co.uk/account/kb/domain-renewal-notifications-what-to-expect) - [Upload files using File Manager or FTP](https://gravityhost.co.uk/account/kb/how-to-upload-files-using-file-manager-or-ftp) - [Manage databases with phpMyAdmin](https://gravityhost.co.uk/account/kb/how-to-manage-databases-with-phpmyadmin) - [Change your PHP version](https://gravityhost.co.uk/account/kb/how-to-change-your-php-version) - [Check and manage disk usage](https://gravityhost.co.uk/account/kb/how-to-check-and-manage-disk-usage) - [Backups — restoring your website](https://gravityhost.co.uk/account/kb/backups-restoring-your-website) - [Why can't I see my website changes?](https://gravityhost.co.uk/account/kb/why-cant-i-see-my-website-changes) - [Upgrade or downgrade your hosting plan](https://gravityhost.co.uk/account/kb/how-to-upgrade-or-downgrade-your-hosting-plan) - [Reset your client area password](https://gravityhost.co.uk/account/kb/how-to-reset-your-client-area-password) - [Set up automatic billing for your invoices](https://gravityhost.co.uk/account/kb/how-to-set-up-automatic-billing-for-your-invoices) - [Understanding your invoice](https://gravityhost.co.uk/account/kb/understanding-your-invoice) - [Cancel a service or domain](https://gravityhost.co.uk/account/kb/how-to-cancel-a-service-or-domain) - [Outbound IP API whitelisting](https://gravityhost.co.uk/account/kb/outbound-ip-api-whitelisting) ## Blog (guides, comparisons & how-tos) - [Blog index & search](https://gravityhost.co.uk/blog): searchable guides on UK hosting, WordPress, domains, email and AI-built sites. Every plan includes NVMe SSD storage, cPanel, free SSL, daily backups, unlimited websites and unlimited business email at your own domain, with UK-based servers and UK phone + ticket support. - **Where are Gravity Host's servers based?** Gravity Host's servers and support are UK-based, so your website and data stay in Britain. Operated by GK Tools Ltd, London (N13 4BS). - **How much does Gravity Host cost?** Annual plans from £50/year, with 40% off the first year (from £30): 10 GB £50 (£30 first year), 15 GB £75 (£45), 20 GB £100 (£60), 25 GB £125 (£75). Same features on every plan; renews at the standard rate. - **What's included with every plan?** Unlimited websites, cPanel, free SSL/HTTPS, daily backups, unlimited email at your own domain, free WordPress install and free migration. Plans differ only by NVMe SSD storage. - **Does Gravity Host offer free website migration?** Yes — free migration is included on every plan; the team moves your existing site and email across at no extra cost. - **Can I host a WordPress site on Gravity Host?** Yes — standard cPanel hosting with a free one-click WordPress install (Softaculous), free SSL and daily backups. A 10 GB plan comfortably runs a WordPress site or shop. - **How do I contact Gravity Host support?** UK-based support by phone on 020 8050 3147 or by ticket at https://gravityhost.co.uk/account/contact — real people, not outsourced call centres. - **Can I host a website I built with AI?** Yes. If an AI tool like ChatGPT or Claude gives you an HTML or PHP file, you can upload it to Gravity Host via cPanel's File Manager and it goes live on your domain with free SSL. Both static (HTML/CSS/JS) and dynamic (PHP) sites are supported with no extra setup. - **Are cheap first-year domain prices a good deal?** Often not — many registrars use a 1p or £1 first-year teaser then renew ten to twenty times higher. Gravity Host charges the same price to register and to renew (e.g. .co.uk £10/year, .com £15/year) and only raises a price if the registry raises the wholesale cost. Always compare the renewal price, not the first-year price. - **Should I let WordPress update automatically?** For a simple site, automatic is fine. For a business-critical site, deliberate updates (back up, update, then check the site) paired with uptime monitoring are more reliable, because a plugin or theme update can occasionally break a site if applied unattended. Gravity Host includes daily backups on every plan. - **How much does a domain cost at Gravity Host?** Domains are a separate yearly cost from hosting, at honest flat prices: .co.uk £10, .com £15, .org and .net £18, .eu £13 a year — and the renewal price matches the registration price. ## Policies - [Terms of Service](https://gravityhost.co.uk/terms-of-service) - [Privacy Policy](https://gravityhost.co.uk/privacy-policy) ## About - Brand: Gravity Host.
