The Most Common Cause: Browser Cache
Your browser saves copies of web pages to load them faster. When you update your site, your browser might still show the old cached version.
How to Fix It
1. Hard Refresh (Try This First)
- Windows/Linux: Press
Ctrl + Shift + RorCtrl + F5 - Mac: Press
Cmd + Shift + R - Mobile: Pull down to refresh, or clear the browser app data
2. Clear Browser Cache
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy > Clear browsing data > Cached images and files
- Firefox: Settings > Privacy > Cookies and Site Data > Clear Data
- Safari: Develop > Empty Caches (or Settings > Safari > Clear History)
3. Clear WordPress Cache
If your site uses LiteSpeed Cache (installed by default on Gravity Host):
- Log in to WordPress admin
- Go to LiteSpeed Cache > Toolbox
- Click Purge All
4. DNS Changes (24-48 Hours)
If you recently changed nameservers or DNS records, it can take up to 48 hours for changes to propagate worldwide. You can check progress at whatsmydns.net.
Still Not Working?
Try viewing your site in a private/incognito browser window. If the changes show there but not in your normal browser, it is definitely a cache issue. If changes don't show anywhere, contact support.
A hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R) usually fixes the issue immediately
