Terms of Service
Last updated: 11 August 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to Gravity Host. Gravity Host is a trading name of GK Tools Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a private limited company registered in England and Wales (company number 16434833), registered office 483 Green Lanes, London, N13 4BS, United Kingdom. These Terms govern your use of our hosting, domain, and website services. By using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, please do not use our services.
2. Services Provided
We offer:
- Web Hosting — cPanel hosting with NVMe SSD storage, a 1 TB bandwidth allowance, SSL, email hosting at your domain, and 1-click installers (WordPress, Nextcloud, OpenCart, etc.).
- Domain Registration — Registration and management of domain names (.com, .co.uk, etc.). Current registration and renewal prices are shown before checkout.
- Professional Services — Support for setup, migrations, theme/plugin configuration, performance tuning, ecommerce, and more.
Details are on our website and in your client area.
3. Domain Names
Domain registrations are also subject to the rules of the relevant registry (for example, Nominet for .uk domains) and our upstream registrar's terms. You must provide accurate registrant contact details and keep them up to date. If a domain is not renewed by its expiry date it may enter a redemption period, may incur additional recovery fees set by the registry, and may ultimately be released for public registration. You may transfer a domain to another provider at any time, subject to registry transfer rules; we do not charge a transfer-out fee. Where a registry keeps an individual registrant's personal details out of the public WHOIS record by default (for example .uk, .co.uk, .org.uk and .eu), that applies automatically at no charge; on other extensions your registrant details form part of the public registration record.
4. Account Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate billing and contact information.
- Keep login credentials secure.
- Use services lawfully and responsibly.
You are responsible for all actions under your account.
5. Acceptable Use
You must not use our services to:
- Host illegal content (pirated software, hate speech, etc.).
- Send spam or perform malicious activities (e.g., DDoS).
- Overuse resources in a way that affects other users.
We may suspend or terminate accounts violating these rules.
6. Payments and Billing
Fees are due as shown in your client area. We accept card and, where offered, bank transfer. Late payments may lead to suspension. Prices displayed are the total amount payable.
Hosting and domain services renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current renewal price shown in your client area. We send renewal reminders by email before each renewal invoice is due. You can cancel renewal at any time before the renewal date through your client area.
7. Refunds and Cancellations
30-day money-back guarantee on hosting plans. Domain registrations and completed professional services are non-refundable. Request cancellation through support in your client area, giving 30 days' notice.
Consumers: if you buy as a consumer, you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of purchase under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Where you ask us to begin providing the service within that period, you may still cancel within the 14 days but we may deduct an amount for the service already provided. Our 30-day money-back guarantee on hosting is more generous than the statutory minimum and does not replace or reduce your statutory rights. Domain registrations are registered in your name immediately at your request and are personalised to you, so the statutory cancellation right is lost once registration is complete — we tell you this before you buy.
8. Service Availability
We target 99.9% uptime and publish independently monitored service status, but cannot guarantee against all outages. We are not liable for losses due to downtime beyond our control. Planned maintenance is scheduled where possible outside peak hours and announced on our status page.
9. Data and Privacy
We process your data per our Privacy Policy (UK GDPR compliant). You are responsible for your website content and hosted data.
We take routine backups of hosting accounts daily for disaster-recovery purposes. Backups are provided on a best-effort basis and are not a substitute for your own copies — you are responsible for keeping independent backups of important data.
10. Gravity AI Connect
Gravity AI Connect lets you authorise a compatible third-party AI service to use only the Gravity Host tools and permissions shown on the approval screen. You are responsible for choosing that provider, reviewing the requested permissions, and for instructions and content submitted through your AI account. The provider's availability, subscription requirements, outputs, terms and privacy practices are separate from Gravity Host.
Builder changes remain unpublished until you review and publish them in the client area. If website-file write access is offered in future and you separately approve it, changes to supported static files may become live immediately. Revision checks, encrypted 14-day safety snapshots, verification and rollback reduce risk but cannot guarantee that an AI-generated change will be correct, lawful, compatible or free from interruption. Executable code, server configuration, email, databases, DNS, cron, billing and cPanel administration are outside AI Connect.
You must not use AI Connect to access another person's service, introduce unlawful or malicious material, infringe intellectual-property rights, evade security controls, or interfere with the platform or other customers. We may rate-limit, revoke or suspend a connection where reasonably necessary to protect customers or the service. Removing a connection stops future access but does not retrieve information already received by the third-party provider.
11. Termination
We may terminate accounts for non-payment, abuse, or Terms violations. After termination, data may be deleted after 30 days. Except in cases of serious abuse, illegality or non-payment, we will give reasonable notice before suspending or terminating a service, and you may request an export of your data within the 30-day window after termination.
12. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the right to services performed with reasonable care and skill. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, or loss of data caused by events beyond our reasonable control, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights, and you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK in which you live.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post updated versions here, and for material changes we will give account holders at least 30 days' notice by email. If a change materially disadvantages you, you may cancel the affected service before the change takes effect and we will refund any unused portion of pre-paid fees (excluding domain registrations).
