Questions
The bits people usually ask first.
Will it work with my existing email?
Yes. The builder only touches your website files — not your inbox. If you've got info@yourdomain.co.uk set up on Gravity Host (or anywhere else), it carries on working exactly as it did before. We don't touch DNS records you haven't asked us to touch.
Can I leave whenever I want?
Yes. The static HTML, CSS, images and words the builder publishes belong to you. If you move hosting, download them first or ask support to package the site for you — we're not in the business of holding people's websites hostage.
What if I want something more custom-coded later?
Then we'd love to build it for you. We do bespoke websites starting at £350 — Gravity Host customers get a discount, and you can use the builder as the starting brief so we're not working from a blank page. Open a ticket with what you've got in mind and we'll take a look.
Does my domain have to be registered with Gravity Host?
No. We host your website; your domain can stay anywhere — Namecheap, GoDaddy, 123-Reg, eNom, anyone. When you're ready to go live, you just point your domain's DNS at us (we walk you through it) and the site loads on your address. If you'd rather move the domain to us too, you can — but you don't have to.
Can I have more than one site?
Yes — one free site per domain you host with us. Got two domains on Gravity Host? Build two sites. Got five? Build five. We won't nickel-and-dime you.
Is a contact form included?
Yes — every site has a working contact form by default. Messages get forwarded to whatever email address you choose (or your main contact email if you don't set a separate one), and every submission is also kept in your portal so nothing slips through the cracks. If you'd rather not have one, switch it off in the editor. If you want spam protection, paste in a free Google reCAPTCHA key and it's automatically added — we'll link you to where to grab one.
What about bookings or e-commerce?
Bigger animals on the roadmap — not here just yet. For bookings, pair your site with whatever booking tool you already use; for a proper shop we'd quote you a custom build (the £350 bespoke is the starting point).
I'm older and not very technical. Will I be OK?
Honestly, yes. The whole point of this is that you don't need to know what HTML or CSS or "the cloud" is. You pick a template, you type your words, you tap a button to upload a photo, and then you tap Publish. If anything goes wrong, real people in the UK reply to support tickets — we don't run a chatbot.
Can I use my own photos?
Of course. Drag a photo from your phone or laptop and it's swapped in. If you don't have photos yet, the editor has a built-in search of free Unsplash images — millions of professional photos, free for commercial use.
Can I use it now?
Yes. If your web hosting is with Gravity Host, sign in and open Website from your account. External publishing and white-label licences are coming later.

WordPress is brilliant when you want it — massive plugin ecosystem, total control, decades of community. We host it beautifully. If that's the route you want, we'll migrate your site over for free and look after the hosting side.
