WordPress
Build a website or blog and manage your pages without editing code.
Your hosting can do more
A website, a shop, bookings or a place to organise your work. Free open-source software covers almost everything people want, and we charge nothing extra to run it on your hosting.
UK web hosting from a London company, with PHP, MySQL databases and email included. Start with 15 GB for £45 in your first year, then £75 a year.
Two ways to get started
One-click install: open the Softaculous app installer in cPanel, choose from over 200 open-source apps and follow the setup steps. It puts the app on your hosting, ready for you to add your content and settings.
Upload and go: download the app, upload its files through the File Manager in your browser or FTP/SFTP, and follow the project's installation guide. Create a MySQL database if it needs one. It is still free software, with no extra charge from us to host it.
For WooCommerce, install WordPress first, then add the free WooCommerce plugin from its dashboard. If you prefer a simple site without choosing an app, the free Website Builder is included too.
Find a useful starting point

Run your application code in PHP and keep its data in MySQL databases. Use phpMyAdmin to work with those databases in your browser.
Use the File Manager in your browser or FTP/SFTP to manage your files. Set up cron jobs for tasks your app needs to run on a schedule.
Email at your domain, free SSL for HTTPS and daily backups are included, alongside the one-click installer with over 200 open-source apps.
GitHub Pages serves static files only. This hosting also runs PHP and MySQL for a shop, CRM, booking system or custom app. See our GitHub Pages and web hosting comparison.
Before you get started
Yes. The Softaculous installer is included in your hosting, and the apps listed here are free to install. We do not charge an extra app or installation fee. You add your content and settings after installation. A domain name is separate from hosting.
Yes. We include help moving your existing site. Get in touch so we can check its files, database and email setup with you and agree the move. Check products, orders and checkout after the transfer before sending customers to the moved shop.
You can upload it yourself through File Manager or FTP/SFTP and follow its installation guide. PHP and MySQL are included, so the installer is a starting point rather than the limit of what you can run. Send us the app's requirements if you would like help checking it fits your hosting.
We help with the hosting, installer, files, databases and email. Each app's own documentation and community cover how its features work, and its maintainers handle software bugs. Keep your app updated and follow its setup guidance. If you are unsure where a problem sits, send us a message and a real UK person will reply.
Choose an app. Give it a home.
15 GB hosting is £45 for your first year, then £75 a year. PHP, MySQL, email, SSL, daily backups and the app installer are included, with no extra charge from us to run these apps.
