How it works
Type the domain you want to move. For most extensions you paste its EPP (authorisation) code from your current provider here.
The exact transfer price is shown before you pay. .uk domains, and a few other extensions, are sent to us as a request instead, and we confirm the price first.
Once payment is confirmed, the code goes to our registrar. Make sure the domain is unlocked at your current provider, which may email you to approve the move.
We submit and track the transfer, and email you when it starts and when it's done.

Transfer Pricing
For most extensions a transfer costs one year's registration and adds that year to your domain's expiry. .uk and .pl names move free of charge and keep their expiry date, unless they're close to expiry, when they're renewed as part of the move.

Do you do the transfer for me?
Yes. Send the form above and a real person replies to confirm the price and the next steps before anything is sent to the registry. Nothing is charged until you have agreed.
What do I need from my current provider?
For .com, .net, .org and most others: unlock the domain and get its transfer (EPP) code. You'll give it to us when you start the transfer. .uk names work differently: there is no code. Unlock the domain, then change its IPS tag to ENOM in your provider's control panel (some refuse the change while the domain is still locked, without saying why). Will my website or email stop working?
Normally not. A transfer moves who looks after the registration, and your nameservers stay as they are. The one thing to check: if your DNS is run by the provider you're leaving, they may remove it once the domain goes. Type your domain above and we'll tell you whose DNS it uses; if it's theirs, ask us and we'll help copy your records across first.
Will you keep my name and address private?
.uk and .eu registries hide a private individual's details by default. On .com, .net, .org, .shop and .pw you can add WHOIS privacy for £5 a year.
Will the price go up after the first year?

Does a transfer add a year to my domain?
On .com, .net, .org and most other extensions, yes: the transfer price is a year's renewal, added to your current expiry date. A .com due to expire next March will then expire the March after, so you don't lose the time you already paid for. Two exceptions: if it expired and was renewed in the last 45 days or so, the transfer won't add a further year; and a name can't move within 60 days of being registered or transferred. A .co.uk or .uk is different: moving it is free, the expiry date stays the same, and you pay the normal renewal when it's due. The exception is a .uk within 90 days of expiry, which is renewed as part of the move.
Is there a fee if I move the domain away later?
No, we don't charge to leave. Your new provider will charge their own transfer price, which usually adds a year to the domain.
Do I need hosting to have email at my domain?
Mailboxes at your own name come with our hosting. If you only need mail passed on to an address you already have, ask us about forwarding.
Can one hosting plan run more than one website?
