How to Transfer a Domain to Gravity Host

Before You Start

To transfer a domain to Gravity Host, you'll need your EPP/Auth code from your current registrar, the domain must be unlocked, at least 60 days old, and WHOIS privacy temporarily disabled.

Step 1: Get Your EPP Code

Log in to your current registrar. Common locations:

• GoDaddy: My Products > Domain > Transfer > Get auth code
• Namecheap: Domain List > Manage > Sharing & Transfer > Auth Code
• 123-reg: Control Panel > Manage > Transfer Lock > Get EPP Code

Step 2: Unlock Your Domain

Find the "Domain Lock" or "Transfer Lock" setting and turn it off.

Step 3: Start the Transfer

1. Go to gravityhost.co.uk/account/transfer
2. Enter your domain name
3. Paste your EPP/Auth code
4. Complete payment

Step 4: Approve the Transfer

.co.uk domains: Transfer usually completes within 1-2 hours.

.com/.net/.org domains: You'll receive a confirmation email. Click the approval link. Transfer completes within 5-7 days.

Step 5: Update Nameservers

DNS changes typically propagate within 1-24 hours.
